Larry: Department of Veterans Affairs disability claim pending since 2004

Larry and John W. Tilford describe Larry's 2004 service connected disability claim with the Department of Veterans Affairs - still pending after three personal hearings in Indianapolis (the third before a Board of Veterans Appeals veterans law judge) - now before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims for the second time. He and I won the first USCAVC decision, the Court remanded Larry's case back to the BVA. The BVA issued a reworded denial but still without any supporting evidence. Larry and I took them back to the USCAVC, this time with pro bono legal support. The pro bono law firm submitted a 34 page brief to the USCAVC - one of their many citations was our initial USCAVC decision. We think the BVA is fully "boxed in" now and are dragging their feet just to hurt Larry, who is in poor health. What a national embarrassment.
