Recently the Consumer Council pointed out that around half of all MPF accounts they had examined had lost money in the past five years. Meanwhile, next week the government will allow employees a VERY limited opportunity to decide who takes care of their funds, and will also introduce a tightewned up regulatory regime. Is it enough to resotre confidence in the scheme?
