My rant on the Department of Defense's Disability Evaluation System and my personal encounters. A plea for help! The PDBR (Physical Disability Board of Review) is deceiving us and sweeping us veterans under the rug so they don't need to pay for retirement benefits. This is immoral and wrong! Especially when I have permanent disabilities and medication breaking me down every day, I would like the benefits of going to my personal doctor instead of driving 30 minutes to the nearest VA clinic only to be told they will not have an appointment for another 3 months. Plus a little extra pay, and base privileges will not hurt either. I just want justice and benefits I deserve! Not to be thrown to the side like they did to me.

I was divorced, lost my house, lost my mind, lost my employment history, my career field will never hire me back, my body hurts, my brain wonders, and all I ask is for help from the government when they send it out there. But no!! They are just teasing!!
